KMY Project is a long term voluntary health project originated from Hands of Hope which focuses on the health education and access, nutritional status and well-being aspect of the underserved communities. It also provides platform for health-course students (Nutrition, Medicine, Food Science, Biotechnology, etc) to apply their knowledge and skills into real-life scenario.
Scholars will be involved in health check-ups, visitation to underserved community, planning of health education syllabus, as well as basic nutritional assessment. Additionally, scholars will also be involved in workshops, development sessions and facilitating booths/events that are in joint with Hands of Hope’s activities to both increase the awareness beyond volunteering and increase the skills or knowledge in the area of health.
