Peer Counseling (PC)
PC is one of the programmes under the Student Development and Counselling Department (SDCD). Peer counselors are UCSI university students who have been carefully selected by the Peer Counselling committee (also students) under the guidance of the University’s counselor.
Selected candidates will then undergo professional training that focus on active listening skills, basic counselling skills, and how to respect boundaries and confidential issues, among others. Scholars will be involved in discussing and arranging internal and external activities. Scholars will also participate in the meeting and sharing session and assist university counselor in their event.
