U-SchoS’ wish to make a difference and bring changes in the lives of students by portraying the concept of go green and go nature. As we believe that learning comes in different forms and ways, we hope to provide the opportunities for students to understand the importance of living in a healthy and natural environment as well as the responsibilities of a citizen of the Earth. Therefore, we are organizing a cycling day named “Life • Cycle” with the slogan of “Cycle for a better life” to raise awareness on the concept of green living, healthy living and natural living.
The objectives of this event are as below:
- To raise awareness on practices of go green and nature in daily lives.
- To develop the strategic planning as well as creative and critical thinking through the activities.
- To promote healthy lifestyle.
- To build teamwork and leadership among participants throughout the activities.
The event activities are designed to be both mentally and physically challenging. The participants will need to travel with bicycle rented in the botany park. They are required to collect the recyclable materials specified along the way. The participants have to implement the skills of strategic planning to complete the mission. The recyclable materials will be used for the second round of the event, which is the creative building. Participants will have to portray creative thinking with the materials collected.
