U-SCHOS: Youth Beyond Boundaries

I was very surprised how well this event was run, I was impressed with how it was organised, the lineup of speakers that came and the overall professionalism of the team. I know they are students, but I could have mistaken them for event organisers already years into their careers. The nature of being young (and I’m talking about myself) is that I was very ignorant, back in university, I didn’t know what my passion was and what I would like to do or to contribute to for the rest of my life. That came from a weak Malaysian primary and secondary education. What the U-Schos does is that it brings experience and awareness from outside the classroom, into the classroom and I believe that goes a long way in helping the youth shape their worldview and the work they will want to do in the future. Personally I have always been on the fence when it comes to coming for events or talks, because there is a 50-50 chance that it will be a terrible waste of time. The U-Schos Leadership Lecture Series has proven that it is awesome with it’s strong lineup of speakers and the professionalism on how the event was run.

In today’s world, it is vital to entertain the curious mind. Providing a safe space for young people to ask question and find answers is the key for tomorrow’s society – ULLS does exactly that. I strongly encourage students to attend those events to find their own paths. A young leader is always thirsty for knowledge and network. Most of today’s successful companies are created within campus – where the creativity meets the entrepreneurship. They are many paths to success but only the fearless intrigued mind succeed. If you believe in this then ULLS is the place for you to go.

It was overall a fantastic event. It gives huge insights to the youth about the possibilities available in today’s world, and what the future may hold for them. It provides you with thoughts from some of the most exciting entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and business leaders, ensuring that you are always thinking one step ahead of the game.
